Youthful populations can lead to issues related to overpopulation (insufficient resources, unemployment, crime, political unrest, environmental damage due to increased waste)
BUT Youthful populations can also be advantageous, especially if countries are underpopulated (Brunei), as the young will provide labour and ideas for the future.
